Join Pathways Junior Board

Pathways seeks young professionals ages 21-39 with a desire to serve their communities through service on our Junior Board. Members will support Pathways’ mission of empowering women and children on their path out of homelessness by raising awareness, volunteerism, and fundraising. Junior Executive Board Mission

To support the overall mission and activities of Pathways by acting as ambassadors, developing leadership skills, participating in fundraising activities, and engaging other community members ages 21–39 in becoming the next generation of board members.

EXPECTATIONS OF INDIVIDUAL JUNIOR EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS

  • Know Pathways’ mission policies, programs, and needs.
  • Create and execute at least one signature fundraising event.
  • Serve as an active advocate and ambassador for Pathways
  • Learn how to conduct board meetings.
  • Leverage connections, networks, and resources to develop collective actions to further Pathways’ mission.
  • Collaborate with other non-profit groups.
  • Attend at least 85% of all board and committee meetings and events.
  • Identify, recruit, and secure new board members annually.
  • Assist in promoting and/or selling tickets to Pathways’ fundraising events.
  • Develop leadership skills and learn the importance of philanthropy.
  • Maintain confidentiality about all internal matters at Pathways.
