The easiest (and most impactful) way for individuals and groups to engage with the organization is by providing and serving a meal. Food must be cooked before arrival, as volunteers are not allowed to use Pathways’ cooking equipment. You are welcome to use the steam table to keep food warm. Plates, utensils and drinks are available in our dining room, or you may provide them.
We invite groups to sign up on a one-time or recurring basis to provide dinner for our 30-35 shelter residents. Dinner volunteer opportunities are available every day, including holidays.
Pathways serves dinner at 6:00 PM each evening. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 5:30 with the meal. You can choose to stay and serve plates to our guests from 6:00-6:30 PM, or you may simply drop off the dinner for our staff to serve. If you choose to stay and serve, please be aware that space is somewhat limited so it is best to keep the number of servers to a minimum.
